Mezzanine Storage in a newly-built barn conversion.
We started this project after completing the wardrobes at this lovely property in the Cotswolds. This had shaker style 4 panel doors to incorporate the small top box doors, and pull the overall appearance together and give it a great wow factor, machined from Tulip wood finished at 30mm thick.
Our client works from home and uses a stand up desk to do so from, so we had to incorporate that into this big unit we’ve created for them, by utilising the centre unit for the stand up desk and also a pull out desk to accommodate a keyboard etc, this was all hidden behind pockets doors when not in use.
In the right hand section this is used for for the storage of bedding and other laundry items so we manufactured slatted shelves to keep the items well aired within the unit..
The internals and exterior was finished in Farrow & Ball ‘Light Gray’ No.17, the carcases are constructed from Moisture Resistant Medite.
We used Carlise Brass hinges and knobs finished in dark bronze.
